SCHOOL CREST:
1. DESIGN: the eastern point of the compass rose rests on the
gateway in the wall. (EAST + GATE)
2. SYMBOLISM: The rose symbolizes the multiple directions one may choose to seek fulfillment.
Beyond this apparent freedom of direction is a black wall, blocking progress. This is the wall of ignorance.
There is however, a way through this wall. The gateway symbolizes education leading to enlightenment, symbolized by the sun. The rising sun further symbolizes primary education.
